Who's that?

DeeDee joined the Odessa Naz community in September 2015. Her God-given passion for children’s and youth ministry began when she was a teen in a small Nazarene church in San Diego, CA and led her to graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Youth Ministries degree in 2011. She served as the Youth and Children’s Pastor in LaFontaine, Indiana for several years and has also been a kindergarten and ESL teacher in South Korea.

As the Family Pastor, DeeDee wants to help the church serve, celebrate, and encourage families. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me" and God has given her the desire to make the church a place where kids of any age can safely and joyfully do just that. She would love to come alongside the families of Odessa in worship, love, and service.

Her wonderful husband Uriah and children Iris & Grayson keep her grounded and inspired to make the church a friendly place for families to be. The Pittman family loves great food and is always looking for people to play board games with! In her spare time DeeDee can be found in a comfy chair with new book, at Starbucks with an iced vanilla latte (also with a book…), or making goofy faces to see her sweet daughter’s smile.

Uriah Is responsible for keeping the tech up and running around here. You can usually spot him running from one side of the church to the other trying to find that one cable he was pretty sure he knew the location of.

His wife, DeeDee, and two kids (Iris & Grayson), keep him going pretty much nonstop. A graduate of Indiana University, Uriah has worked a variety of jobs, but has always kept his passion for videography and photography.

If you can catch him standing still, stop him to chat about cool new technology, Hamilton, Star Wars, or pretty much anything else. :)
